Thought turkey season was over? Thought tacos were only for Tuesdays? Well, it’s time to think again. This turkey taco salad is a lighter and fresher take on your usual taco, making it a great lunch that won’t bog you down.
Turkey Taco Salad

Total Time: 15 minutes
Active Time: 10 minutes
- extra virgin olive oil – 1 teaspoon
- avocado – 1/2
- shredded lettuce – 1 cup
- roma tomato – 1/4
- salsa – 2 tablespoon
- ground turkey – 4 ounce
- taco seasoning – 1 teaspoon
Arrange a bed of shredded lettuce.
Slice avocado and tomato and add to salad.
Top with salsa.
Set pan over medium-high heat.
Add turkey and top with seasoning. Mix well.
Cook for 10 minutes or until turkey is cooked through.
Add contents to salad.
