Sales + Partnerships @ My Happy Plates

My Happy Plates is a fast-growing startup that makes it easier to shop for groceries and cook great tasting, healthy meals at home.

In this Sales + Partnerships role, your primary mission will be to drive revenue by finding, pitching, courting, and signing new B2B clients. You’ll do this by building a pipeline and selling into companies who are a strategic fit for what My Happy Plates offers – a comprehensive wellness solution that saves employees time and money when it comes to food.

We’re a fast-moving, nimble team of 5 people, so we’ll look to you to create immediate impact and hit the ground running. You’ll report directly to the CEO and will work with him to continue to define our company’s sales strategy and brand messaging.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the entire sales pipeline.
  • Drive awareness and interest through targeted lead generation campaigns.
  • Educate prospective clients using intro calls, product demos, webinars, and more.
  • Own activity, output, and targets. Dominate goals.
  • Help drive product roadmap with front-line feedback from clients and prospective clients.
  • Work with CEO to drive revenue, improve sales processes, and grow sales team.

Who We Want

  • Creative, problem-solver, focused, winner.
  • 3+ years in a B2B / SaaS role with a strong track record.
  • Experience selling to and working with HR, Benefits, Wellness, and Culture teams.
  • Excited to learn. Equally as excited to drive us forward.
  • You think quickly on your feet.
  • You’re analytical but decisive.
  • Experience building target lead gen lists.
  • Experience crafting outbound email messaging.
  • Experience cold calling prospective clients.
  • You love building relationships and finding where you can add value.
  • You’ve used CRM tools like HubSpot and YesWare or can learn quickly.
  • You’ve failed at something before and you’re willing to tell us why.
  • You can demonstrate how you might add value to our team in our first few minutes together.
  • You’re a communicator – maybe you talk with your hands, maybe you don’t. But you love the art of storytelling.
  • You’ve got a true north. Integrity is paramount to us.

About My Happy Plates

Here’s the problem. You’re driving home from work after meetings ran late and get the “what’s for dinner?” call. Or maybe your belly starts growling because you’re hungry. Immediate stress. You don’t like spending all your time at the grocery store and you don’t have the time, inclination, or patience to plan ahead for what to eat. Also, those meal kits are convenient, but way too expensive.

We’ve been there, and it’s why we’re building products that help folks with the stress around meal planning.

Each week My Happy Plates makes personalized recipe recommendations and helps users build a simple, great tasting plan for the week. Then we build a smart shopping list that users can either take to the store or order directly through our platform for on-demand delivery. It’s not rocket science, but we’re saving folks about an hour per week when it comes to thinking about food. We think that’s pretty cool.

We’re focused on helping companies build great employee experiences. We work with companies of all sizes – from 10 employees to 150,000 employees – and roll-out as part of a corporate wellness or culture initiative. It’s really hard to attract and retain great teammates, and then to empower them to be the best versions of themselves. That’s where we step in.
